Sussex Student Pad

Using Student Pad is the most direct way to advertise your property to students at the University of Sussex who are searching for private sector accommodation within the Brighton, Hove, and Lewes area.  Sussex Student Pad provides students with a website to search for high quality student accommodation that has been fully inspected by a University Housing Officer and complies with our Code of Standards. We ask that all landlords read our Code of Standards before accessing the site and ensure that your property meets the required standard for advertising. The code of standards lays out our requirements for repairs and maintenance, health and safety, certification, equality of opportunity, security, deposits, and a complaints process. Once you have registered, we will be in touch with you to organise an inspection of your property.

This is subject to an initial inspection upon signing up, and property inspections every three years thereafter.
